John A. Baker, Jr. (born December 19, 1988), better known by his stage name Spoken Reasons, is an American actor, comedian, poet, and singer. Baker grew up in Bradenton, Florida. He began his career by creating a YouTube Channel, which had, by December 2014, more than 1.7 million subscribers and over 250 million total views. He made his feature film debut in a supporting role in the 20th Century Fox comedy, The Heat, which opened on June 28, 2013. Baker partnered with Russel Simmons\' All Def Digital in 2013, and worked with recording artist Russell Simmons and Priscilla Renea.
